More Ethics Problems For Bobby Haircut

As if his political purge of the state government and his sweetheart deals to raise the energy rates weren’t bad enough

Maryland Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr.’s personal lawyer has parlayed his close ties to the governor into a booming Annapolis government relations practice.

And because David Hamilton has emerged as a behind-the-scenes power broker without ever registering as a lobbyist, he’s been able to do what no Maryland lobbyist can: help clients get access to the governor and other policymakers, and then ask those same clients to donate to Ehrlich’s 2006 reelection campaign.

Rick Santorum is the least popular senator in all of America. It’s a good thing Pennsylvania now has a choice.

It was one thing when the con refrain was that the media wasn’t showing the good stories from Iraq (little known fact: a school being painted and marines being blown up are of identical news value), but now the geniuses at Real Clear Politics are blaming the media for not reporting what an awesome job was done in New Orleans.

Catch These Killers

This happened literally one block away from my apartment.

The reward in hopes of solving a homicide in Takoma Park, Md., is now up to $5,000.

Investigators said 66-year-old Victor Dao was shot during a robbery last Monday on Flower Avenue.

Police said Dao gave the robbers everything they asked for, but they killed him anyway.

Police returned to the area were Dao was killed Monday night and handed out fliers.

They’re hoping someone will recognize three men caught on a surveillance camera using the victim’s credit card.

This man was killed, for no reason at all. He did what the scumbags told him to, and he was killed anyway.

“I think (President Bush) has lost his bearings. but then, so did Moses from time to time, it s quite understandable.”

You see, Bush has suffered among the conservative cult. He’s no longer God or Jesus… just Moses.

A Funny Thing About Ben Ferguson

1:05 am EST May 23rd, 2006 | Politics | 33 Comments

Ben Ferguson is one of the young brainwashed who is sort of a mini-Limbaugh. He came to the conservative movement as a kid, and was soon put in the pipeline, with his own book and everything, in a way that young liberals have so far not been afforded (hopefully this is now changing). Young Ben apparently spends a good amount of time on cable television comparing military service to playing for the Yankees as a way of explaining why he hasn’t signed up yet, but what’s interesting to me is that like most Republican hypocrites, Ferguson lectures at length about chastity and purity but couldn’t keep his hands off the young woman I saw him with in Union Station. (more on Ferguson here)
