<description>I consider Mrs. Clinton's grip on the 2008 Presidential nomination a "lock".
Who in the hell running for re-election to the Senate produces a video of that quality? Nobody. That's who. The woman is running for President and nobody in the democratic party can stop her. Period. African American voters will be stampeding the voting booths to vote for her in the primaries. All Bush has to do is what he is doing now and she'll raise another $40 million she doesn't need to use this year and the race is over.

<description>Well then you're frankly not talking to the people who vote in the primaries. I don't consider Sen. Clinton a "lock" but if you think surveying DailyKos, MyDD and even OW.com is an accurate view of the Democratic base who will be voting in primaries and caucuses... you're wrong. None of us - nor the MSM - had Kerry on the radar in Iowa and NH, yet he won handidly. It will likely happen again. Sen. Clinton is the most recognizable pol in America, and even for people who don't like her Iraq position (or lack of one), she is a figure of strength in Democratic circles.

My concern with her is frankly in the general election.

<description>I still have yet to meet a single Democrat who plans to vote for her in the Democratic primary. And most people I know (including myself) are Democrats. Oh, and it isn't just because of her "electability". A lot of Democrats see her as a spineless pol - the worst of Bill Clinton - without any of the charm. We generally sympathize with her because of the way the Right Trash brigade treated her in the 1990s, but beyond that, there isn't much we really like in her. Give me Warner, Feingold, Clark, Gore, Napolitano...anybody but Hillary.
