Rep. Mollohan in Virginia makes his bid to be appointed chief of Planet Duh. If your actions look incriminating, its probably because you did something wrong.

    Culture of corruption?

I did of course bring this up weeks ago……good of you to finally get around to commenting on it.

  2. Lets see, there’s Jefferson and Mollohan on the Dem side. On the GOP side there’s Bush, Cheney, Libby, DeLay, Frist, Abramoff, Ney, Cunningham, Goss, the entire Ohio GOP, Katherine Harris, and it goes on and on.

Lets see, there s Jefferson and Mollohan on the Dem side.

Not to mention P. Kennedy, McKinney, Reid, Pelosi…

  4. Reid & Pelosi? And McKinney and Kennedy may be guilty of bad judgement, but corruption’s a whole other thing.

Some moron forgot how to use HTML. Idiot!

Sen. Reid, as you’ll recall is connected to Abramoff. And Pelosi was in the Top 3 as far as abusing Travel priveleges.

Lets look at the clinton legacy too…I mean, lets compare presidency to presidency..

“Number of individuals and businesses associated with the Clinton machine who have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to crimes: 47
    - Number of these convictions during Clinton’s presidency: 33
    - Number of indictments/misdemeanor charges: 61
    - Number of congressional witnesses who have pleaded the Fifth Amendment, fled the country to avoid testifying, or (in the case of foreign witnesses) refused to be interviewed: 122″

    I’m not forgetting you, peed’.

“individuals and businesses associated with the Clinton machine”

A little more specificity, please. Just how “associated” were these people? Bet you a buck that Clinton opponent Jim Guy Tucker is one of those so-called “associates.”

  8. Quaker in a Basement says:

“Pelosi was in the Top 3 as far as abusing Travel priveleges.”

    As above.

Please be sure to distinguish between “abuse” and “official business.”

  9. Quaker in a Basement says:

“Sen. Reid, as you ll recall is connected to Abramoff.”

Connected? Please describe this “connection.” Be sure and bend the facts plenty while you’re at it. That’s the only way you can possibly tell this story and come within hollering distance of making it look true.

And I wonder how many Bush aides and associates would have been indicted had there been a Democratic Congress?
