		<description>So did bush listen to John Kerry's phone calls while they were campaigning? As the Decider, he had to, I suppose.

		<description>Shhhh.... &lt;a href="http://rovianconspiracy.blogspot.com/2006/05/shhh-dont-tell-anyone-but-it-is-rovian.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;Don't tell anyone, but it IS Another Rovian Conspiracy&lt;/a&gt;

yes, it's truly diabolical to play up issues that have broad support and not simply play defense in an election year.

		<description>Don't let history get in your way Repack. The original Clinton special prosecutor, Fiske, whom Starr replaced, was appointed by notorious Republican Janet Reno.

Its something of an oddity that ,seemingly,the most costly special prosecutors seem to have been appointed by the same side being investigated (Walsh was appointed by an R).

		<description>The sad part is only the threat of impeachment may persuade this administration to follow the law. It's obvious nothing else is working.

		<description>The GOP set the threshhold for presidential investigation by spending $70 million and five years to see if they could find a crime to pin on Clinton in the Whitewater deal. The result of all this investigation was of course that no crime could be demonstrrated to have taken place.

All that investigation JUST TO SEE IF A CRIME HAD TAKEN PLACE, before the Clinton presidency, in a deal where the Clintons lost money.

Then the GOP set the threshhold for impeachment, to wit, if the president tells a lie that is not a crime about an event that is not a crime, in a forum of absolutely no importance to the Republic, he should be impeached.

In order to comply with the GOP standard of presidential accountability, I suggest Congress appropriate $70 million to see if Mr. Bush has ever told a lie of importance to the Republic, and if he has, it's impeachment central.
