No Republicans Here!
E.J. Dionne discusses how Republicans are running away from the “Republican” label (also see Rasmussen’s polling on the very same issue). It almost as if the other brand whose name we dare not speak is, at the end of the day, stronger (note how many bloggers identify themselves as “independent” or “libertarian” versus those of us who simply say we are “Democrats”).

Wow, I think this is a watershed moment. First Dugger and now Moonie eschewing the Republican label and being (gasp) critical of the party!
Isn’t there something in Revelations about this sort of thing?
When the Rapture comes, can I have your stuff?
a lot of us are running from the label because, well, republicans suck.
They aren’t even conservative anymore. They’re fiscally irresponsible, noodle-spined, bought and paid for, vote-pandering pushovers. Their unwillingness to stand up agains mobs of illegals trying to intimidate the citizens of this country is what finally did it for me. Screw the republicans.
I’ll call myself a “right-leaning independent.”
So really, I have no party anymore. (I’ll still never vote for a Democrat though, but I WILL vote for a third party next time unless these quacks do what we elected them to do and quit taking people like me for granted)
Yea, moonbat, it’s a shame that the Republicans aren’t as racist and bigoted as you want them to be.
