Malkin has found her “outrage” du jour: You see, the Texas Rangers are a team in the southwest with a considerable Hispanic fan base. As a tip of the hat to their fans, the Rangers wore jerseys saying “Los Rangers” on May 5th, Cinco De Mayo. Then the team signed the jerseys and auctioned them off for charity. BASTARDS!
But according to the brain damaged Malkin who automatically sees hispanic = bad, this is no better than the Rangers wearing the confederate flag on their jerseys. Because as everyone knows, the Spanish language is just the same as… slavery.
But she’s not racist or a bigot or anything, she’s just defending the honor of the Texas Rangers (the police, not the team).
She also left out of her screed that the owner of the Rangers is Tom Hicks, honcho at Clear Channel and a Bush pioneer.
She also failed to note that Bush used his political connections to steal the land for the Ballpark at Arlington to build their park.
Funny though, I don’t see wingnuts who are whining about Kelo condemning THAT eminent domain case.
So Michelle Magalang is faking another back-arching ragegasm. What else is new.
You know, it would be rather cool if they would do a remake of “Thelma and Louise” starring Magalang and Ann Coulter. I’d buy the DVD just to put the scene of them both driving off the cliff on endless repeat.
I don’t know… the idea of Susan Sarandon and the “first woman POTUS” going off the cliff together suits me just fine. I think they got it right the first time.
“I d buy the DVD just to put the scene of them both driving off the cliff on endless repeat.”
How about if they just film that scene? No reason to film the rest of the movie.
I’m just surprised that this team hasn’t given her a stroke yet.
How dare they call soccer “futbol.” Everyone knows that it’s spelled “football” and that football is an American sport!
Michelle plays to her “base…”…
Oliver is right. Malkin has found her “outrage” du jour: You see, the Texas Rangers are a team in the southwest with a considerable Hispanic fan base. As a tip of the hat to their fans, the Rangers wore jerseys……
I hear in Canada they play football with 3 downs and a longer field. And in Australia, they wear short pants and no pads. Why do they hate America?
Speaking of football. It was the Houston hispanic community that was outraged that the transplanted MLS team was going to be named “1836″ to commemorate the year the city was founded.
Latinos protested that 1836 was a slap in the face because that was the year that General Sam Houston led his Texas Army to defeat Mexico’s General Antonio López de Santa Anna’s Mexican forces.
I’m surprised that this team hasn’t given her a stroke yet.
