One Thing About George W. Bush

He is no Bill Clinton. Absolutely positively in no shape or form is George Bush 1/10th the president of William Jefferson Clinton.

I think the only people left are the dead kitten folks.

They voted for him twice when there were red flags all over the place, so I say good for them. They get what they get!!

Actually Bush has sustained a robust economy in a time -recovering from the techno bubble- when many might have blown it.

Clinton had a good economy, too. The diffrence is you didn’t viscerally hate Clinton so when when his pals in the media played him up as they frequently did- like the lover’s walk on the beach- you bought it hook, line and sinker.

We tend to see what we want to see.

Interesting. I thought all repuiblicans believed that government, including the President, could not create jobs or otherwise have a significant impact on the economy. How might he have blown it?

The reasons the clinton haters have been quieter for the most part (although we still hear from them time to time) is that they are now getting some of their own medicine and it doesn’ taste good. And with the sinking poll numbers of Bush and republicans, in general, it really tastes bad.

To top it off the republican congress impeached him based on a personal matter that was created from a supposed “investigation” of a 20 year old land deal in Arkansas that turned into a phony witch hunt, all while Clinton stayed at over 60 percent in the polls. Sooner or later, the republicans are going to learn that results matter and the American public eventually figures out who is on thier side albeit a little late this time.
