Puppies, Yes Or No?
We’ve known for years that the Fox News/Opinion Dynamics polls are some of the most Bush-friendly around, but this is ridiculous. Yet, Bush only scored 33% approval in this poll.
I wonder what his real number is (20? 10?)?

And he will.
I want to be the first liberal out of the gate to vote in favor of puppies.
It doesn’t matter if he ends up with negative 33%, he is the President and
he can tell everyone to GFThemselves.
“C. whenever he wants pancakes”
ROFLMAO
In Fact Pancakes taste better with puppies in them – knowing that would you be more inclined to let the president smash puppies with a hammer A. sometimes B. all the time C. whenever he wants pancakes
Setting aside the fact that liberals have thrived on polls that were the “mirror image” of these for years (“Should women be denied the right to an abortion” Do you favor or oppose military involvement in ______”), it still would appear that the answers are as predictable for the self – proclaimed Democrats, as they are for the self – proclaimed Republicans.
Granted, seething BushHatred doesn’t seem to permeate the poll, but, then again, they weren’t polling the commenters at OliverWillis.com, were they?

Why is it always “BushHatred” when it comes to disagreeing with him. Sounds like that’s about all the die-hards have left. 33% of the people polled think everyone else just hates Bush, right!
Get over it already.
While there may be a few “BushHaters” on this site, as you refer to, there is a big difference between hate and just being PO’d at someone, including Bush.
Maybe they went low on the Bush approval rating (33%) so that if their next poll has him at say, 36-37 percent, they can spend a lot of talking-head time discussing the miraculous rebound.
How could they word the questions to get him back to the 36-37%?
If you knew that the president had at his ranch pink ponies that he lets people who approve of his job performance come and pet and watch him ride and talk about and maybe even milk would you be more inclind to approve of him? (If yes ask them if it is the riding, talking or milking of ponies that makes them more inclined).
I, for one, gladly embrace the term ‘BushHate’.
It is time for all good men to celebrate their disgust
for the Presidential paragon of Malfeasance, and his shameless
disregard for the Law , human compassion and truth.
Just thought I would be unequivocal, You know, kind of
an Anti-Instapundit.
I know the difference between BushHatred and “disagreeing with Bush”. That’s how I was able to tell that it didn’t permeate that poll, and it is also how I know that it permeates this thread.
Thanks Kreskin.
don’t dive me “kreskin”
It doesn’t take a mind reader to tell if someone hates Bush.
Most people who hate Bush can’t even type the words “I sdon’t hate bush” without adding a “, but… “
See Cleo hates Bush
but if it makes you feel better I dont like him either.
Ok Frank, I dont hate Bush
Kreskin Frank is correct in pointing out the fact that there are quite a few Americans who do hate Bush.
But suppose someone asked me, “Are you a Bush lover or Bush hater?” I would have to say I’m a Bush hater, given the alternative. Real Bush lovers like Frank are relatively few and far between.
You’re not even good at being Kreskin.
I certainly don’t hate Bush, but I don’t “love” him.
I respect him because he is the President of the United States.
And I like some of his personal qualities.
I certainly like the idea that he quit drinking and drugging and found religion — so did I.
He’s not fiscally conservative enough for me — he doesn’t even give it a passing nod.
There never was any such thing as a ClintonHater, was there?
I guess that shows how much better a president Clinton was than Bush, because nobody ever hated Bill like Democrats hate George.
Which says more about Democrats than it does about Bush, doesn’t it?
The point was that some polls give only a limited choice of answers, sort of like “you’re either with us or against us.”
If your choices are limited to “I’m a Bush lover” or “I’m a Bush hater”, I am a Bush hater.
You and fugger are Bush lovers. Own up to it. You think your W glass is half full.
What do you mean, “Own up to it”? Why in the world would I have said what I said, if I had the opportunity to say something else?
I didn’t produce the “Do you hate Bush, or do you love him?” question…
That was Buma…
