If you wait just a moment, you’ll see why that outlook might be a bit optimistic…(cue wingnuttery)

I’ve been clean and sober for 20 years, but I’d ditch that in a minute for what ever sh*t those guys are doing!
Apparently the left has already been “cued” (read “programmed”)…
    And, isn’t this a wingnut?

  3. midderpidge says:

George Bush announced his new clean energy program, today. I think it is composed of ‘guest workers’ scrubbing the smoke stacks at coal burning power plants with soap and with brushes from Bush’s brush ranch in Crawford.

I am confused – the critique is that they are dreamers? And that this must be some sort of brainwashing to want to reduce harmful gases into the atmosphere?

  5. stim says:

Why do they always dress ‘future’ people in sweater vests? If that’s my choice of fashion in the future the please, pollute on! Let’s just end it.

I’m sorry — but I only got as far as “in 2005, everyone understood that our climate problems were real, and humans were to blame”, and I was vibrating already.
Then I saw Barack – MacCain in ‘08, and I needed to lie down.
    How did it end? With

Where the boxcars all are empty and the sun shines every day
On the birds and the bees and the cigarete trees,
The lemonade springs where the bluebird sings
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains, all the cops have wooden legs
And the bulldogs all have rubber teeth and the hens lay soft-boiled eggs
The farmer’s trees are full of fruit and the barns are full of hay
Oh I’m bound to go where there ain’t no snow
Where the rain don’t fall, the wind don’t blow
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains

Did anyone catch Nova the other night about Global Dimming?
In a nutshell, some scientists theorize that particle emissions have been masking the rate of global warming to some degree because clouds that condense around pollutant particles reflect more light/heat back into space.

  8. Frank_D says:

You mean it’s even worse than they say it is?
The world can only end once, you know…

  9. duros62 says:

Yes, that’s pretty much what they’re saying. It’s worse than we originally thought. (Well….for those of us who think it already is pretty bad).
