Are you SERIOUSLY expecting me (or anyone, for that matter) to take your word for it?

Given your own history of taking my comments out of context and putting words in my mouth, I think I’ll pass on condemning him just yet. I’m not saying he is or he isn’t; as the accuser, the burden is on you to prove it. But to build your entire case on “he’s a racist because he said this to me, take my word for it” is nowhere near enough evidence for me, especially for such a serious charge.

If he said it, that was stupid. I’ve insulted you myself (most notably at http://wizbangblog.com/2005/02/04/offering-oliver-an-olive-branch.php), but I’ve tried to limit myself to ones related to your conduct, not who or what you are. I don’t approve of that in the least. Like I said in that piece, nobody — not even you — deserves that.

But I’d be willing to wager that you’ve never suffered the levels of venom and racist hatred Michelle Malkin and LaShawn Barber do.

Geez, Oliver, care to offer the slightest shred of evidence that Ian is a racist? That’s a pretty heavy charge; I’d hate to think you’d toss that out without some convincing proof.

A Wonkette commenter tickled my fancy with this;
