Bush-Steele Bringing Culture Of Corruption To Maryland

This is the sort of shady government we can expect to tar the state of Maryland if we make the mistake of electing Michael Steele to the U.S. Senate. The latest addition to his woefully disorganized campaign is Doug Heye, also known as a frequent skybox guest of Republican lobbyist and convicted crook Jack Abramoff. You’ve got to wonder, how many other of Abramoff’s dirty pals Steele will infect Maryland with?

That’s not a chance we should take.

    Poor Brandi–we all can’t have AA’s in PC Support from Manurespreader CC like him. How’s that job search going? Still fending off the recruiters with a lead pipe?

    The fact that Steele’s credit report was illegally obtained doesn’t mitigate the fact he chose to hire on one of Abramoff’s butt boys. In fact, it rather exemplifies Steele’s stupidity.

    I’m asking because I seem to have this nutty recollection that it was the Democrats who turned them in.

    That’s some pretty twisted logic, Quaker. I guess then we can write off Duke Cunningham, Jack Abramoff, Ken Lay, and Bernie Ebbers because it was Ashcroft and Gonzalez’s Justice Department who took down this list of crooks.

    Before that, he worked for Rep. Richard Pombo (R-CA), who’s very close to Tom DeLay and Jack Abramoff.

    That in itself should be reason enough to keep one’s distance.
