1. The NFL settled its labor issues. The NFL Fan Nation can now stand down. Put away your face paint, beer-dispensing hardhats, and customized jerseys (mine says #1). Peace reigns across the land, as is intended.

2. Canada beat America… in baseball. My response? It’s only six months until the NFL is back.

Baseball may be “America’s pastime”, but when you compare our lineup to that of the Dominican Republic, or Venezuela, there is simply no comparison. None. Zero. Zip. Nada.

We have a pretty good lineup. A-Rod, Jeter, Chipper Jones, Derrek Lee, Michael Young (batting champ last year). We lost to Canada because Dontrelle Willis got shelled, and Buck Martinez’ replacement was an aging Al Leiter.

I was kinda hoping for no salary cap in 2007, just see how much Snyder would spend, lol.

Add in ManRam and Sosa just for shits and giggles.

Our lineup is alright, but have you seen the Domican’s lineup?

    Soriano
    Tejada
    Pujols
    Ortiz
    Alou
    Beltre
    Encarnacion
    Castillo
    Tavares

Vlad coming off of the bench ?! With Pedro and Bartolo Colon on the mound. Wow!
