Another example of Bush trying to pull off a sleazy deal under the table. How come we and Congress are just now learning about this. CNN broke this story last Monday. Damn liberal press. Always trying to make Bush look bad.

Remember when Reagan was talked into laying a wreath at
the memorial of German war dead in Bitberg?

Someone has sold Bush an Edsel and promised a Lexus Nexus.
Jimmy Carter may have been too close to Bush I and has
also been sold a bill of goods.

  3. buma says:

Come on. Are you saying you don’t trust Bush? I am convinced Cheney had only one beer before mistaking his acquaintance for a pen-raised quail, and I know for certain that Bush will do the right thing for the American people. What the WH says is always absolutely correct. They would never mislead me or god forbid, be mistaken about anything. You are living in tinfoil hat land, friend.

  4. southpaw says:

Bush finally has something worth vetoing. What I am waiting to find out is what is in it for Bush and is Cheney supporting Bush on this. Bush has been too cozy with the Saudi’s.

Yeah…and what kind of kick-back is Jimmy Carter getting?

  6. southpaw says:

Carter said he trusted Bush to make the right decision and he was supporting him.

  7. I said it years ago, to a Republican associate of mine…I said, before this moron’s term is up (ie: Bush), you’ll be too ashamed to admit you *ever* supported him.

My wish has come true. He acts as if he only voted for Bush out of “fear of Gore and then Kerry”…as if he’s not responsible for that vote, as if he just *knows* they would have done worse. Pffffft…Kerry was harping on port security from the early days of his presidential bid.

GOP cowards. Sell our country to the highest bidder, then turn and walk off into the sunset. I’ve also said this before; I wish we could brand Bush supporters. Put a big f*ckin’ scarlet “W” in the center of their foreheads. Traitors.
