Incidentally, I found Reynolds’ link to the other guy’s denunciation, but I didn’t find his own statement. Maybe Greenwald has something there, not that I care. I’m a little sick of this demand for apologies and denunciations. It has certainly devalued both.

JD: I claimed that, contrary to what Reynolds claimed, he did not “ignore” Coulter. In fact, the links show his a record of supporting her. That is the extent of my claim. If he has denounced her as well, that’s fine, but his record is mixed at best, and he lied by characterizing it as one of ignoring her. My claim stands.

Do any of you understand the term Liberal Arts? It is not called COnservative Arts for a reason. It is intended to liberate your mind, something that obviously it has failed to do for many of you shredders…pardon, threaders… who seemed to be stuck on the intellectual level of Sunday School. Informative, but hardly enlightening.

Most right-wing howls of horror that I’ve heard about left-wing statements are either about people you’ve never heard of or based on distortion and misunderstanding, like this one.

So I’m calling out the right-wingers here: give us links to some statements as revolting as Coulter’s from left-wingers anywhere near as prominent as Coulter (something more reccent than the 1960′s, for once, please). If you’re right about them I’ll denounce them. If you’re bullshittin, like stick, I’ll call you on it.

Case in point, InstaCracker once said DC would be better off as a colony, stripped of any voting rights. An odd position for a self-described Constitutional law prof to take.

Or his famous endorsement of a t-shirt which said ‘Celebrate diversity’ using the commonly used pan-African colors to promote handguns.

Of course, InstaCracker rivals the clowns at Little Green Fascists when it comes to disparaging Arabs and Muslims–only that InstaCracker doesn’t use the swear words.

What’s wrong with the Moore quote? He’s lamenting that people died, and pointed out that if someone wanted to go after Bush, it makes no sense to do it in blue states. It’s not like he’s encouraging them to kill red-staters. Whereas Coulter explicity wishes that Oklahoma City had happened at the New York times building — wishing for blue staters to die.
