This week I took the time to compile my own list of Republican corruption. (I went ahead and included the pedophiles.) I thought I'd finish in a couple of hours; it took me three days. Funny you should highlight that statistic. The same report had Democrats spending 54% of all travel money. With less members. My, that is a lovely glass house you have.

As long as these rules exist, they will be used and abused. But there has to be a way for small and big businessmen alike to communicate their needs to Congress. Perhaps making the lobbyists’ expenses less tax deductible, and the Congresshumans’ receipt of said favors more like taxable income.
That would help.

Well, here’s my question: Where did he go on all these junkets?

If he was going to Des Moines to get a first hand look at the problems of hog farmers, I don’t really have a problem with that. On the other hand, if he was travelling to Oahu for a “seminar,” that would get my interest.

Lemme get this straight: He hasn’t violated the law, but he is not only more corrupt than any Democrat, he is more corrupt than the (as yet unconvicted) Tom DeLay. You’re gonna hurt something, Oliver, if you keep stretching like that…
