Chris Matthews is Off His Meds
Tweet
He has accused Senator Kennedy of.. “molesting” Mrs. Alito.
What the hell is wrong with that guy? And why does NBC/Universal employ someone who would say something so insane?

It’s definitiely a charged word, but are you familiar with how most dictionaries start off defining the word “molest”?
mo·lest
1. To disturb, interfere with, or annoy.
2. To subject to unwanted or improper sexual activity.
Do I really have to tell you that no one thinks Teddy Kennedy molested Mrs. Alito. He wasn’t anywhere near her, was he?
Mary Jo Kopechne could not be reached for comment.
Do you really think he doesn’t carefully measure his words?
He is a calculating commentator who knows the power
of ‘buzz’ words.
I wouldn’t put too much stock in the theory that Chris Matthews carefully measures his words.

The left has their outrage hats on again, this time over this statement from Harball s Chris Ma [...]
Save Farris;
Your point in that link is lost to me.
Anyway, “tweety” is primarily interested in getting invited to all
the right parites in Washington. His second priority is ad revenue.
He knows the ‘buzz’ centered around his controversy creates
a critical mass of viewers. He believes that’s the bottom line for
his sponsors. He believes it is a net gain for them.
“tweety” was saying that al-qaida aren’t evil. That doesn’t seem to be carefully chosen or well thought-out. Not even Oliver is willing to go that far over the cliff. I hope you agree.
Of greater concern to me is Mr. Matthews – more obvious than usual – GOP ball washing. Within the last week, he has expressed the sentiment that the NSA spying program will be a “political win” for Bush (wtf?), that the anti-war left is akin to Osama Bin Laden/Al Qaeda and that Tom DeLay is his new found love.
Which brings me to this point: He *must* be connected to DeLay in some, as yet, undiscovered way. How else do you explain this laughably lap-dogish statement from Capt. Hardball himself:
I mean, CHRIST, Jeff Gannon showed more tact and at least had the decency to leave the reacharounds in the bedroom.
Liberal Media, my ass.
Chris Matthews is the same guy, post 9/11, who went on IMUS and said something to the effect that “we’d better start understanding why these terrorists hate us so much.” The fact that he’s equating dissention from the left with coddling the enemy is laughable, within the context of words he’s used in the past.
Look..Matthews knows where his bread is buttered. Right now, a lot of these guys are jumping ship on the left (can anyone say Dennis Miller?) because they know that liberals don’t spend countless hours glued to the television, holding on to every word from Hannity, O’Reilly, Coulter and so on.
There’s a reason Franken’s “Air America,” doesn’t have the numbers Limbaugh does. While I enjoy ol’ Al from time to time, he really is just another mouthpiece with a more refined sense of humor. Conservatives, however, view their radio and TV “icons” with reverence. This comes with a stunning inability to separate fact from fiction.
If you were a car salesman, and you weren’t selling cars in Phoenix, wouldn’t you move to Atlanta if you could sell more cars?

“GOP ball washing.”
That conjures the simultaneously squeedgy and hilarious image of
Bill Murray ball washing as he’s fixing his prurient gaze upon the
senior spread of middle class midwives while uttering, “Ohh! Mrs.
Chadwick, you animal.” It augers well with the worshipful beattitude
of “Tweety’ as he kneels in the Inner Sanctum of Power and Influence.

That’s three trackbacks in five posts from that “Say Anything” guy. Looks like O-Dub has himself a new “#1 fan”….
