The judge overseeing the fraud and conspiracy trial of Enron Corp. founder Kenneth Lay and former CEO Jeffrey Skilling on Thursday rejected their last-minute bid to halt the trial, saying they couldn’t credibly argue the jury pool is too biased when the panel hasn’t been chosen.
Just like good Republicans, they’re claiming nonexistent bias.

Democrats are equally as guilty for dealing with Lay or 0. Democrats are not guilty-as long as even one has never dealt with Lay. Sorry, DrPedro, you just can’t skip over the close personal friendship that existed between George W. Bush and Kenneth Lay. Trying to paint Clinton as Lay’s friend is just plain dishonest, but you have proven you can remember your talking points or at least dig them out of the filing cabinet you have for talking points and Rush Limbaugh transcripts (which you write yourself). Kenneth lay was Bush’s buddy, they did Buddy things together and Lay gave Bush lots of campaign money (which was probably cheated out of old ladies in the california power selling schemes or other dishonest means) which Bush repaid with political-type favors.
