The Big Dance

John Cole is a happy camper today. Although a Steelers fan saying “It is finally happening.” is a bit much.
I’d feel a lot better about the ‘Skins losing to the Seahawks if they’re the ones who make the Superbowl. I still won’t feel great about it though.
UPDATE: And its Seahawks vs. Steelers. I may break with my tradition of supporting NFC teams, however, because the Steelers much more represent the sort of old school NFL football I love (and what is played in the NFC East)

John Cole is a Steelers fan? I knew there was a reason I liked him.
And try to remember that not all of us were alive for the Steel Curtain, Oliver.
All I can say is Roll Tide, because Shaun Alexander(The pride of Kentucky and University of Alabama’s finest) and the Seahawks are going to the Superbowl. Cheer up Oliver, next year your Redskins will have the best staff in football and if you can trade away Ramsey for another QB or draft one, they may make it farther in the playoffs.
My dream SB woulda been Pittsburgh vs. Washington. Maybe next year. One for the thumb!
I went to the Bronc-Steeler game and I don’t think it was as close as the score. But, don’t count out the Hawks!
Well we drafted a QB last year, so either we pull another year out of Brunnell or the kid steps up to play (and we get more than one WR for him to throw to).
Me, I’m doing the happy dance. Those sports writers who picked the Panthers had me a little worried-I guess they didn’t see the Monday night game-even John Madden said “I think this Seattle team has arrived.”
Besides, OW, what’s wrong with catching interceptions and SHUTTING DOWN Smith?
The Bronco-Steeler game was tough. It was a blowout early. The Broncos made a game of it early in the 4th, pulling within 27-17 and with the ball. But then the offense fell apart. Oh well. The Steelers were the better team and I’m pulling for them as I always pull for the AFC (except the Raiders).
who cares what style of football the steelers play, they’ve got the most annoying fans in the league (actually a close third behind eagles and cowboys fans). i don’t understand how any DC area resident/redskins fan could align with those people.
I also want that Other Pennsylvania Team to win. Glad they made it. Just hope it’s a close game to the end.

Speaking as a Seahawks fan, I would greatly appreciate you giving the Steelers the same level of support that you did Kerry/Edwards back in 2004.
