Bush’s Bagman
Tweet
TIME has seen five photographs of Abramoff and the President that suggest a level of contact between them that Bush’s aides have downplayed. While TIME’s source refused to provide the pictures for publication, they are likely to see the light of day eventually because celebrity tabloids are on the prowl for them.

So why doesn’t Time publish them? They claim they can’t afford them?
That isn’t Bush. Those photos are obviously photoshopped. Bush never met Abramoff. Democrats took money from Abramoff too. Look, terrorists in your cereal bowl …
If we ever got to the bottom of the Plame thing, and the VeeP is implicated, I’m fairly certain Bush would say he’s never met Cheney before.
I bet you Bush supporters would believe him too. I mean, Dubya is a busy man…can’t be bothered to know everyone running about town.
Five pictures, eh? I guess if you can find 6 photographs of Bush and Ted Kennedy, you’re going to add the death of Mary Joe Kopechne to the bill of Impeachment.
Eh?
I don’t know, Save. Did Scott McClellan ever say that the President does not know Kennedy, or that the President does not recall ever meeting him? That’s what McClellan said about Bush and Abramoff.
The article does not assert that Bush is guilty of anything except sending his press man out to lie about his relationship Abramoff.
“Scott McClellan said the now disgraced lobbyist had attended two huge holiday receptions and a few “staff-level meetings” that were not worth describing further. “The President does not know him, nor does the President recall ever meeting him,” McClellan said.”
It’s kind of an appalling lie that AWOL George claims not to know Abramoff.
Think about it. Abramoff is a Bush ‘Pioneer’ which means he brought in $100K to Bush’s campaign. Anybody who has ever worked on a national campaign knows that if you bring in a $100K–that candidate probably has your cell phone number memorized.
And Abramoff’s been to the WH almost 200 times.
If lying about being shown together in a picture is such a crime…
Farris,
And didn’t you guys impeach him for that? So… you’re point is…?
Remember JadeGold, that $100,000 bought Abramoff a seat on the transition team, allowing him to help select people for the Dept of Interior, which in turn, includes the Department of Indian Affairs! What a coincidence!
Leroy, it was for lying before a grand jury and obstructing justice.
I’m not aware of Bush doing either of those things.
Farris,
My point is that if he’s lying about knowing/meeting/being buddies with Abramoff, what else is he lying about? After all, perjury is an impeachable offense, even if its not about a sexual act…
Give him time. He’ll get around to it.
hey Jadegold.
Bush was never AWOL. That has never been true.
Dugger
Again, Abramoff only came to the WH often because it was the easier for him to bump into Jeff Gannon.
