I think Bush has gone most of his grown life with lowered expectations, but aren’t the trolls sad that they coddle thier king like a baby? He is the president! because as he said a couple years ago “I don’t think too much about
OBL”.

it consequential that the President be kept informed in a timely manner.

Bush’s aides have learned not to spook Bush while he’s on camera following the script. They have nightmares about the blank, deer-in-the-headlights look on the Dear Leader’s face after they told him that American was under attack. They’d hate for him to wet himself on stage.

I don’t think the issue is that OBL was about to do something and Bush needed to act. The issue is that the President was not briefed on what, by any measure, is a significant national security event…or at least threat. It isn’t like OBL comes out with these tapes every week.
