JD, that doesn’t mean it’s the only definition. I’d apply hype to that too. I’d be really surprised if the Colts beat the Pats — if they play each other.

I’d also define a talented guy like Peyton not getting over the Pats as choking, much like I would define the performance of the Skins vs. Dallas up until this season as major league atomic chokage.

Losing to a team that is favored falls well outside the definition of choking. Losing on the road to a team that is favored falls well outside the definition of choking.

Ian – please explain how Indy has a record of choking in the playoffs. The only times we have lost in the playoffs, under Manning, have been on the road, when we were underdogs, to the eventual Super Bowl champs.

Of course, Jon Gruden has yet to lose a playoff game as coach of the Bucs.

If the Skins were healthy in the secondary, I’d probably pick them. As it were, if Reggie Brown can light that secondary up, imagine the kind of day Joey Galloway will have against it.

Yes, I know choosing two wildcards in the SB is a longshot, but I rather do that than pick two of the most obvious teams, Indy vs. Seattle. Indy has a record of choking the playoffs, anyways.
