Washington (10-6) clinched the NFL s final playoff spot and its first postseason berth since 1999 with its fifth straight win. The victory also eliminated Dallas from contention.
I want the big game at the end really badly, but I’m very happy about just getting over this damn hump. No matter what happens, I wouldn’t want any other coach in the entire history of the NFL calling the shots than the guy we’ve got now.
UPDATE: Dallas lost anyway, so we would have made the playoffs had we lost. This just in… Dallas sucks.

Before the Skins take the field on Saturday the Boys will have cleaned out their lockers and gone home with their tail between their legs.
Five in a row baby, even if the season does end on Sat the Skins have proven they are winners.

Yeah, all the Skins did was sweep the Cowboys, sweep the Eagles, split with the Giants, win five in a row to make the playoffs, and knock the Cowboys out of the playoff race.
The Cowboys barely even have a coach. I much prefer where we’re standing. Clinton Portis ain’t on vacation yet.
My father was watching the game to because he roots for the Cowboys. I know of at least one disapointed Cowboys fan today…
The Skins will beat the Bucs and then they’ll beat the Bears.
I just can’t get over the 5 wins in a row, I wonder when was the last time we did that.
Cowboys are and always will be NO. 1
Every other team are just tackling dummies for them.
Except for when the Redskins (and a few other teams this season) are beating the hell out of them.
In the end, anything short of a Super Bowl win is an unsuccessful season, for any team. The only team that will have a successful season is the team that scores the most points in Detroit.
Now that this crappy season is over I’m finding solace in the fact that, by losing to the Redskins, the Eagles at least kept the Cowboys out of the playoffs.
