Hanoi Joe Meets The Boss

Whatever Bush did in his meeting with Lieberman, it did the trick for the wind-up toy.

After meeting with President Bush this morning, Senator Joe Lieberman reaffirmed his support for the Iraq war, saying the president’s recent speeches do indeed add up to a “plan for success.”

No word on what Lieberman has to do to become “a real boy”.

    Maybe you should explain the genesis of your pet name “Hanoi Joe.”

    During the Vietnam war, we called Jane Fonda “Hanoi Jane” because of her deliberate support for the enemy, which was headquartered in Hanoi.

    What has Joe Lieberman said that would even remotely qualify him as a supporter of the enemy in the War on Terror?

    Perhaps his support of the man who let Bin Ladin off the hook, who has turned Iraq into the world’s biggest terrorist training ground, and who has made violence against Americans more respectable the world over?
