Heath Redeemed?
As a diehard Redskins fan, I’m among those who cringe when I hear the name Heath Shuler, since I associate it with the QB debacle of the century (or at least one of the top 5, you can buy his rookie cards for next to nothing). But now that he’s a Democratic congressional candidate and is ahead of his Republican adversary in money raising, he may finally uncringe his name.

I’m not buying it, Oliver. You know how it is. Shuler starts with a huge bankroll, then he injures his pinky and his entire team can’t have a winning record for more than ten years.
Run away from him while you still can.
Seriously, though, he might have a good chance if he plays up his college ball a little bit. I used to live in Taylor’s district, and they take their football very seriously there.

I sent the local Sports radio conservative, Steve Czaban, an email on this development. I am amused that a GOP official described Heath as “young, attractive and vivacious”. Maybe that’s the Redskins’ problem: They look for the wrong traits in their QBs.
If he can’t even handle the ball, how do you think he will handle situation that will affect (effect?) you and me.
