MIA: Moral Authority

It’s a sad day when the Secretary of State says we don’t torture, but there’s no good reason to believe her.

It’s a sad day when someone doesn’t believe anyone, with no good reason to disbelieve them. That’s cynicism of the highest order.
I’m sorry, Frank…but do I understand you to argue that there’s no good reason to disbelieve Rice?
Yes, you do: Re – read Oliver’s (TPMCafe’s) list: Her name is not om it. Pretty much like saying I don’t believe Murtha because Dean is a nut case. Both are true, but not connected.
Dude, the post he linked to is something called “sarcasm.” Watch The Daily Show for regular examples.
As for good reasons to believe Rice is being dishonest, look over any of the half a dozen reports that assert that the US mistreats POWs/enemy combatants/whatever term they’re using for them this week to avoid the strictures of the Geneva Convetions.
Thick. On. Purpose.
