"A man of honor who puts family, patriotism and politics in the proper order" reads to me like "A guy who votes the Right way; a DINO." Let me put it this way: they would never say this about Harry Reid, a centrist Democrat who is NOT a DINO -- to them, the worst kind of enemy. (e.g. Tom Daschle, Al Gore Jr., John Edwards) Which is one reason why someone like Teddy Kennedy was second. He represents voters who won't vote Republican under pain of death, so he's no threat.
