    The man gave me the phrase “wax on, wax off” to describe any rote work used in early training as essential pieces of a job later on.

    Makes me feel a little nostalgic for my childhood. I went to see the first Karate Kid twice in the theatre, the same summer I saw Ghostbusters four times.

    I’ll never forget the scene in the Next Karate Kid, when he shows Hillary Swank her prom dress. It brings a tear to my eye just recalling it.

    Another of my favorites is Collision Course, with Jay Leno

    I remember him in “Thouroughly Modern Millie” and of course “Happy Days”.
