Sometimes You Should Listen To A Celebrity

In this case, it’s John Cusack.
One question for any Democrat: Who will have the balls to get us out of Iraq? ( ( If the Democrats don’t step up and fill this vacuum, the Republicans will. They will take us out of Iraq. And then the Democrats will be left holding the bag — first as the enablers who let the Republicans take us into an unnecessary and immoral war, and then as the whipping boys who stood by while the Republicans kept justifying what was clearly an unnecessary and immoral war.
I really liked Grosse Pointe Blank and Serendipity, so listen to him.

He also rocked Sixteen Candles!
He also pretended he was a Sox fan and tried to get Reinsdorf to give him a free ticket to the World Series. He’s nothing but a goddamn Cub fan on the bandwagon. Funny too because his sister is the main rep for US Cellular, the sponsor of the White Sox’ stadium. Of course it’s all irrelevant now because we won the World Series. I still can’t believe it.
My ex-wife thought he was hot.
That’s why she is my ex :=)
“as the enablers who let the Republicans take us”
By all means listen to those celebs. They belong to the Dems. They are the intellectual and financial center of the party. And the above is just brilliant,. Once again Democrats are not equals but little waifs adrift in nature and led astray by the mysterious, evil Republicans. And you wonder why Bush got elected twice. “Why I didn’t really vote for the war. It was something tyhose evil Republicans tricked me into. ” Any responsible adults left in he D party?
You know, the ones who did something and are actually responsible for what they did?

I really liked “Ghosts of Mississippi”, so does that mean I have to listen to Alec Baldwin and Whoopi Goldberg?
His points wrt Iraq can also be replaced with our budget problems. I thought Kerry was going to have it bad trying to fix the first term’s insanity. Now I fear for Clark, but I almost do want to see McCain try and fail at the economy just so we don’t have to listen to “well Bush was just one bad apple”….
Cusack was in Serendipity? I must have missed that.
Guess you did:: He starred in it
