I wonder if Fox News "journalists" will now find they have to disclose their political party affiliation before they do stories on Democrats or Rebublicans?

That obviously means that if bigoted morons report on Cliff Kincaid, they have to declare a conflict of interest.

Are women who report on women's issues supposed to announce they got the story because they have a uterus? Do Black reporters have to say, "Yeah, I'm the token black reporter, so they sent me to do the Martin Luther King story."? Do reporters have to tell us their political leanings when they're sent to do a political story? In days of old, we were able to assume that reporters did a good job just because they were supposed to. It's a sad world we live in that we now believe there is a slant on everything written.

Bwhahaha!

I say we apply these "journalistic ethics" standards across the board. Why stop at sexual orientation? From now on, only nonwhite, nonmale reporters may be assigned to cover the White House and Congressional Republicans. Imagine:

"In a blatant violation of journalistic ethics, Time magazine assigned a white male reporter, John Doe, to write the recent Time cover story on the President but did not disclose his conflict of interest to its readers."

Cliff Kincaid: being gay and writing about gay is

Hey- maybe he IS gay! He seems to have his head stuck pretty far up his own ass.

I think he might be onto something- from now on, each byline should include these general tid-bits:
Race?
Date of Birth?
Gender?

I wish Time and Newsweek would placate Cliff Kincaid and have an atheist write a big cover story on Christianity.

Conflict of interest? Wha?

What sort of writeup would Kincaid have expected from a heterosexual reporter?
