How They Think

Not content to simply be an unfunny conservative comic, but now Media Research Center’s “Gaggle” has decided that child molestation is a good punchline. Tasteless and unfunny.

Not only tasteless and unfunny, but incredibly insensitive as well. But what would you expect from such a-holes, anyway? Insensitivity drives the conservative movement.

Ollie, if you re really looking for funny, and not a lame excuse to toss another dud hand grenade, try Chris Muir s Day By Day.

To be sure, not ha ha funny, but sligthly-amusing-to-the-20%-or-so-of-the-population-that shares-my-particular-wordview funny.

The problem with conservative humor in general is that it only appeals to those who share that particular ideology. Liberal humor is funny to all.

Oliver, are you going to blog about Veteran’s Day at all today?

Thanks for bringing that up, Dkel. We all need to remember this day, as you are doing on your own weblog.

Day by day is definitely a lot more slick than Gaggle, but funny it aint. Smugness is its strongest asset, and DbD deploys it without mercy.
