If Reagan had devoted some sort of funding to researching AIDS, instead of laughing at the “gay disease”, thousands of people would have lived or at least been with less pain. But he didn’t give a damn.

This is only one tentacle in the American Taliban’s War on Contraception.

At the same time they are trying to undermine condom use, they are also keeping Plan B from being sold over the counter, encouraging pharmacists not to fill prescriptions for Plan B (even in the case of rape — Target just got caught busted for that), and teaching children in the public schools that contraception doesn’t work so there’s no point using it.

Anyone see a pattern, here?

Ahhhh, but see, if Ronald Reagan had put those warnings on condoms back in 1984, then HIV would have completely disappeared off the planet.

Nothing to see here. We all know condoms are 100% effective in preventing pregnancy and STDs.

I don’t see anything wrong with adding all of the warnings necessary, but anyone who has the belief that the availability of condoms leads to promiscuity needs therapy, or a free one way ticket out of Northern Idaho.

Condoms aren’t for fundamentalist christionas. God gave them sex only for procreation.
