So Telling

At the current hour (11EST), MSNBC and CNN have extensive coverage of the funeral of Rosa Parks. Fox News? Just not interested.

What you mean they don’t even have coverage of Scalito planting a big wet one on her cold, dead face?

Or maybe that wouldn’t play so well with the base …..

  2. Rosa Parks is not a missing white woman.

  3. Hedley says:

And yet Fox gives it prominent coverage on their website and MSNBC and CNN give it hardly a mention.

  4. buma says:

MSNBC has the story prominently on their site.

    LOL! Good one mr. curmudgeon!

  6. DannyYeager says:

Rosa Parks would be disappointed at the treatment of some black politicians at the hands of more “enlightened” African American liberals who justify their actions by saying they are only “pointing out the obvious”:

Funny, CNBC isn’t covering it, either. What’s the matter, Oliver? “Not interested” in reporting that? Maybe it’s because they’re both doing pre – recorded shows.

But a cheap shot is better than no shot, right?

  8. Frank_D says:

Puleeze, Oliver, even you’re not buying that bilge…

    U wuz busted!

  9. PrivatePyle says:

Oliver using race once again to lodge a cheap shot…what a surprise here

  10. DannyYeager says:

Fox gave up their seat so other networks can cover the funeral.

  11. CNBC is a business news channel, Fox, at least as they describe it, is a “news” channel. A funeral with a leading civil rights icon is black, last I checked.

  12. Hedley says:

All 3 now give it prominent coverage. Only Fox had at the time I previously checked.

  13. Dkelsmith says:

As of 1307 HRS (EST) there is coverage.

  14. PrivatePyle says:

Oliver that is so pathetic…at least you’re predictable

  15. goatchowder says:

I guess she wasn’t “articulate” enough for them.

Maybe if she had fought for free-market profiteering, warmongering, and/or theocracy, FAUX would have more interest in her story and paying respects to her.

  16. Frank_D says:

It’s been on FOX for over a hour and a half, goatchewer, so you can give up the faux outrage now.

  17. White Whale says:

Regardless of who is covering the matter, I wonder what “paid analyists” and other pretty faces will opine. Watch it on C-SPAN. At least you don’t have to hear anymore talking heads at the Communist News Network(see I can have fun with my side of politics:) or the Facist News Network.

  18. JD says:

I have yet to see Oliver acknowledge that he made a mistake in his rush to attempt to smear a network. I will not be holding my breath.
