Harriet Miers gave money to Hillary. Hillary Clinton.
What’s the sound of 1,000 freepers wailing? Listen.

Hey, freepers already vetted this guy right? He’s totally legit, as far as their concerned. What could be the problem?
So let’s just spread the word…Miers donated to Hillary. Ha! This is fun!
I suppose you will not oppose her nomination then ?
Nah, she’s still unqualified. Doesn’t matter, she may not get out of committee anyway. (But doesn’t she deserve an up or down vote?)
Personally, I’m somewhat in favor of an enduring reminder of the rampant cronyism of the Bush administration.
I’m still betting on a withdrawal of the nomination. It would be embarassing for Bush if his own Party were behind not letting it out of committee.
