No disciplinary review for 9/11 failures of Tenet
Contrary to recommendations, CIA Director Porter Goss will not order disciplinary reviews for the agency s former director George Tenet and other officials who have come under fire for their performance before the attacks of Sept 11, 2001.
It’s not like 3,000 people died under his watch or anything.

Seems entirely justifiable and expected to me.
A predictable response from JD, who is evidently tolerant of mediocrity, as long as it comes from Cons.
“Georgie, you’re doing a heck of a job” Bush was heard to say as the WTC crashed down.
It seems entirely appropriate to me as well. Although disciplinary action is hardly an idictment , when it occurs, it still is subject to similarly prudent guidelines.
If one is judged incompetent to stand trial, no further action need be taken.
And although a seamless and bloodless bureaucrat, Tenet could never be called competent, no matter the yardstick of measurement.
