Agreed. To be fair, Bennett is clearly oppossed to aborting black babies to reduce crime. He did, however, leave open which other options he supports for reducing the number of blacks in America. What a guy.

My point was that the truth is not the outcome of a poll. What you say is either true or false. Wasn’t there something I learned in philosophy about the difference between the poet and the philosopher: the poet has to please aesthetically, and personal taste determines his popularity; philosophers have to stand the test of truth, and anyone can simply not believe, but that doesn’t make the philosopher’s statements any more or less true.

To come directly to the point, the articulate Reverend Yearwood’s statements are stupendously overblown. No one even remotely hinted at genocide. Nor did anyone seriously suggest that aborting black babies was a viable method of crime reduction.

The articulate Reverend Yearwood should be pummeled into unconsciousness with Dictionaries, in the hope that, when he wakes up, he will read one, so he can be accurate as well as articulate.
