NY Is For… Democrats

That’s what you have to conclude looking at these polls. Hillary Clinton is up 2-1 over either possible Con challenger, while Elliot Spitzer… well…

# Spitzer over Randy Daniels 60 – 15 percent;
# Spitzer over Thomas Golisano 56 – 22 percent;
# Spitzer over William Weld 60 – 16 percent;
# Spitzer over John Faso 60 – 14 percent.

It is too soon to skip the governor’s mansion and send Spitzer right to the White House?

    Did you say New York was for Democrats?

    You mean the fact that New York’s Electoral votes, with a few exceptions, went to New York, since about 1960, was not a Dems – Diebold conspiracy?

    This works out well for Hillary. NY would vote for her even they found out she blew the New Orleans levees. So she can continue tack right, say ‘scr*w you to the Kos wing of the party, and have a shot at the big kahuna.

    NY is a Democratic stonghold?

    Who knew?

    Oh yeah, Hillary knew. Because NY was one of the few states she could relocate to where she would be assured of a Senate seat.

    Yea, NY votes only for Democrats- that’s why they’ve had a Democratic governor and the city of NY has had a Democratic mayor for 12 years. And all the congressional delegation is Democratic, also.

    Pataki and Bloomberg are not what I would call traditinal conservative Republicans. Both are pro-chioce on abortion and Bloomberg was once a Democrat but switched parties out of political convenience.

    You can’t deny that, statewide, NY is pretty much true blue.
