  1. PSU94 says:

If it’s not being reported, how does everyone seem to know about all this funraising Rove is doing?

  2. Dugger says:

Looks like a Kerry campaign photo op.

    Dugger (I apologize for that)

  3. rainlion says:

That’s soooo funny, I was just about to post a comment re: Rove’s fundraising in Aspen last week, and Fargo today/tomorrow. Then I see TomY beat me too it.

CNN would rather stand guys in Wind Tunnels to simulate hurricane winds, than try and actually report something…

  4. TomY says:

Why won’t they report on the fact that Karl Rove is fucking fundraising in North Dakota today?!? Isn’t he supposed to tbe the reconstruction czar? How can this possibly be called a liberal media? Where the hell are these alleged liberals?

  5. southpaw says:

It is supposed to be a peaceful anti-war demonstration. Why would he be afraid to be in DC? He should be out on the front lawn of the White House saying “Bring it on”.

  6. TomY says:

Why, I read it on Powerline. They report everything the MSM doesn’t get to, right?

  7. southpaw says:

I would like to know why Bush has to go to Colorado to monitor the hurricane. He could not do that from the White House? Makes me wonder if something is going on that the American people don’t know about. Like maybe Bush has advanced warning of an attack on Washington and he is getting the hell out of Dodge. Or maybe a killer asteroid is hurtling towards earth and Bush will be safe underground in Colorado when it hits. Just food for thought.

  8. ewk says:

    Southpaw,

It isn’t hard to figure out why Bush doesn’t want to be in DC right now. A certain large gathering of people…

  9. BroD says:

    That’s from Onion, right?

  10. Frank_D says:

Yeah, sure, people don’t want to watch CNN, because occasionally, there’s a foolish looking reporter.

    Yeah, that’s it.

  11. Zappa says:

Well thats Frank_D – not the sharpest knife in the drawer…

  12. Semanticleo says:

one-liners really take the discussion forward; don’t they?

  13. Semanticleo says:

    Frank;

Are you indicating that the above comment meets your standard of “saying something”?

  14. Frank_D says:

Let me act like a liberal

It seems to me that CNN is not successful because Conservatives monopolize the media, because they’re rich and power – hungry. And CNN, which is a centrist – oriented reporter of news and therefore should be thriving, is failing because occasionally, a reporter will do something foolish. This is why thousands of people are watching FOX News instead of CNN.

    Returning to conservative mode:

It is always possible (and of course, liberals would say “remotely possible”) that CNN is losing the ratings race with FOX because

    1) CNN is so transparently liberal that the average cable news viewer has grown weary of of being spoon fed a left wing view of the world; and

    2) They are so convinced that they are mainstream, and FOX is far (or “extreme”) right (as are people like Semanticleo and Zappa) that they haven’ t a clue as to why less people are watching them everyday.

I think you should have quit while you were behind.

Zappa, I now ask you the same question I asked semanticleo, when are you going to get off my case, and actually say something?

  15. Frank_D says:

    Yours certainly doesn’t, once again…
