This is more than wishful thinking, and I’m betting it’s a trend soon. Democrats are associating their opponents with Bush, and Republicans are running away from the unpopular president (what do they know that the media refuses to report?).
I’m guessing this might not work for Tim Kaine in Virginia (though, who knows?) but it sure as hell should work for Martin O’Malley (or Doug Duncan) here in Maryland.

So distancing yourself from party leaders is a bad sign, huh? Then what of all the stories of nearly every red-state Dem who won’t be caught within 500 miles of Howard Dean?
