Last week Oliver was whining that President Bush went to Washington DC instead of the affected areas. Many noted that there is nothing that the President could have done by going to the affected areas, and rightly so. However, we were told that at times like this it is important for the victims to see their leaders on the ground. Then, when they do go, their security is criticized. I was pointing out the classic damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario that the lefties have constructed for this. Nice work. Alex, pray tell exactly what job the First Lady plays in this? What possible threat would require this level of paranoia? The other day, helicopter relief flights were suspended while Bush was in the area. That's not security. It is overkill.
