I don’t know if her encounter with Anderson Cooper woke her up or what, but it’s time for us to stop currying favor with these jackals

Senator Mary Landrieu, the Democrat of Louisiana (whose father was a mayor of New Orleans), appears to have finally found her voice after offering only cautious criticism of the federal relief effort in the hurriance catastrophe earlier in the week. Today she promised to literally “punch” anyone, “including the president,” who contnued to question the local response to the tragedy, considering the gross federal misconduct.

Enough is enough. People are dead because of this, and if the Democrats won’t raise hell nobody will.

    Don’t be silly. In fact, The demos were literally THE LAST to raise heck (hell is a bit much for the likes of them).

    See your heroine Landrieu’s now ffiinfamous “I want to thank” spiel that even Anderson Cooper clobbered her for. And your boy, Clinton, has lost wheatever tiny credibility he might still have had with that outrageous Bush fluffing that Arianna just wrote about. The demos are useless. To see them as a genuine alterniative to Bush is obscene, given that after all people are dead because of this!

    Sure good for Senator Landrieu if violence is your thing. How did your relations behave ms Landrieu? Cover themselves (himself) with honor? She should be put in the slammer for threatening the Presdent. This is all part and parcel of a massive failure of Democratic politicians: the incompetent buck-passing mayor of New Orleans, the bumbling Lt. Governor and the Governor. What a sad day. And once Mike Dukakis advertised the party as the party of competence. Now its cheap threats and murderous incompetency. Way to go Democrats!!

    When it is made clear that the Bush Administration’s response was grossly lacking in competence and timeliness, will you say that liberals are overreacting when they call it “murdersous incompetency?”.

    First things first. Since you have evidently conceded the gross incompetence of Democrats like Mayor Buckpass and Governor Blankmind, should we not all join together in a kind of “we’d like to teach the world to sing” thing and kick their incompetent butts out of office. And we’ll add the thuggish Ms Landrieu (who’s obviously covering for her incompetent relation) to the mix (I’m assuming in Canada you don’t encourage violence towards elected officials with whom you disagree). After they are out of office we’ll then be in a position to evaluate the federal government response, the third in line government entity here.
    So join with me Maus-ie as we move forward together to rid the world of corrupt mayors, Lt Governors and Governors. Kumbaya!
