		<description>I have been detecting a change ot tide direction for the far right for a while now.  I am, by definition a delusional optimist cross-bred with bitter cynicism.
I do believe that the lunatic fringe of the right as exemplified by the good Dr.(Mengele) Frist is losing ground to the right-of-centers who are squabbling about the relief efforts post Katrina.  I sense that those most upset over Bush incompetence are loathe to have support from the Left.  It may be the smarter stragegy to step back and observe the implosion  It could be that Frist is going to be seen by these same types as opportunistic when he convenes the Senate Tuesday morning spearheading the drive to give more aid to the wealthy, while NOLA founders.
