Rob seems pretty intent on supporting Dear Leader until his poll numbers hit zero.
In all fairness, though–do we really want AWOL George “helping” NOLA recover? After all, his track record is just perfect in tackling an issue and making it much worse than when he found it.
Maybe you’d be happier at a site where every idea is treated with respect and due consideration, like Free Republic or Little Green Footballs.
Maybe Oliver can explain his “moderation” policy for the rest of us.
I submitted a post very early this morning, which was held “pending moderation” for several hours, then, if I recall correctly, posted to the site.
Now it’s gone again.
It contained no ad hominems, although it did express some unpleasant truths Oliver probably wasn’t happy to see on the site.
So, what gives? It’s your blog, and you can do whatever you want with it. But if you want an Oliver Willis echo chamber, please let us know, because that’s going to be very boring.

Tuco: If it’s any consolation, it’s happened to my posts before. I think (I could be wrong) it’s probably an application problem as opposed to a moderation-thing.
I do notice that if you post too much in a short period of time, comments go to moderation.
I’ve noticed posts with HTML links get held back…I’ve reposted them again immediately afterward, without HTML links, and they go up fine.
My guess is it’s a software thing…
