Gimme Links
Tweet
As part of my duty to help the progressive blogosphere get smarter, I’ve asked you to send me links. Not just links on an issue, but links on a regular basis. The right-wingosphere thrives on links but the progressive blogosphere is too stingy with them and way too insular for its long-term viablitiy. I don’t get enough emails with people saying “check this out”.
So start doing that. Send me emails and send them to other bloggers.

No surprise.
Links? We don’ nee’ no e-stinkin’ links?
Believe it or not Oliver, but you don’t have any of my blogs on your blogroll.
Just saying.
I got tons o’ links. They can all be found at
http://mediaintrouble.blogspot.com
And “insular” may be the biggest understatement I have heard in a while.
Moreover,
I don’t know if our little email exchange inspired this blog post but if it did, why didn’t you reduce the insularity of the blogosphere by saying, “inspired by an email exchange with Media In Trouble”
stingy and insular. i guess those are 2 ways of describing the luscious status of the left wing blogosphere.
Here’s one for you…

Not sure I understand what you mean by: “the progressive blogosphere is too stingy with them and way too insular for its long-term viablitiy.”
One of the best sites I’ve read in a long while is http://www.bopnews.com/
The posts are articulate, diverse, intelligent and from a range of authors of various backgrounds and expertise.
http://www.bagnewsnotes.com/ looks at how media manipulates images and imagery. It’s more of an exercise in free-association with some very interesting observations.
http://pharyngula.org/ is a science blog which usually makes me want to go back to school so I can be as smart as the people who post and comment there. Bonus: ID arguments reduced to dust by those who understand the difference between “Darwinism” and evolution.
oooh…forgot my first introduction to world politics: http://www.zmag.org/weluser.htm : articles by reporters from all over the world.
