Gaggle: “This Is No Laughing Matter”
Appropriately that’s the “punchline” for today’s edition of Gaggle, Media Research Center’s failed attempt at humor. Evidently they’ve now turned off the comments for “Gaggle” so that they can no longer get feedback about how spectacularly unfunny the whole enterprise is. This isn’t a right-left thing. Here’s a comment from one of the readers to the previous strip:
Politically speaking, I’m sympathetic, but outside the artwork, these strips are rather boring. There’s no “funny” here, nor irony, nor satire. At best, they’re slightly snotty, but not enough to be interesting. Sorry.
Sorry, indeed.

I’ll take the lefty comics any day. They’re actually funny.

This Is No Laughing Matter
Truer word was never spoken, boy.
The funniest thing about Gaggle is their struggle to be funny – it’s hard work, but they’re a bit funnier than IMAO.
Wow, was that bad – I was just waiting for the punchline and it just never came. I feel so let down now.
Still, if only we *did* have a press that wasn’t so in bed with the Republican party they’d actually do their job and expose the crimes of this war/administration. Instead we get sensationized stories about missing white women and celebrity trials. Ugh.
Ollie,
if it is irrellevant and unfunny why bother linking to it in the first place?
Is your mission to bring down a poorly trafficked comic strip by diverting traffic to it?
So that what, in the endyou can say, HA! I brought down a right wing fledgling political cartoon singlehandedly?
This is silly. If you want to make some imporvements in media drop the comics. They are cartoons for a reason.
And this one like you said is dumb enough all on its own. It will fail no matter what anyway.
