The Tinkerbell Caucus: Up Is Indeed Down
Tweet
Dedicated to those Republicans who, no matter the facts at hand, will twist facts until they’re past the pretzel phase in service of the right-wing agenda. In this edition we’ve got Mark Noonan at Blogs for Bush who goes to no other an authoritative source than GOP senator Jon Kyl to educate us slack jawed yokels about The Un-Appreciated Economic Boom. For those of you who lived through the Clinton administration and an honest to goodness real economic boom (the longest peactime expansion in history, as you’ll recall) may wonder what Messrs. Noonan and Kyl are smoking. Well you see, based on their statistics, we’re beating Europe and Japan — combined! Yes, we’re beating a nation and a region that have been mired in economic stagflation for over a decade – congratulations on lowering the bar, USA!
And congratulations to Mark Noonan and Jon Kyl, inaugural members (along with Jay Tea of Wizbang) in the highly respected Tinkerbell Caucus. Official motto: Clap. Clap Harder.
