Somebody – Anybody, Please Tell The Media

For what seems like the 10,000th time, a new poll has Bush’s numbers lower – this time lower than Richard Nixon during Watergate. Will somebody please tell the media? Will somebody please tell them that no longer is the story about our brave, fearless commander-in-chief struggling against terrorists with his own bare hands abroad and evil left-wing nuts domestically, but rather it is the same story that many of us have seen since November 2000: An ill-prepared and ill-suited ideologue that is out of ouch with the populace who has dithered and dawdled resulting in horrible decisions that have now led to the deaths of thousands.

Who will tell the media?

Great typo too: “out of ouch”. Indeed, everytime that guy does or says anything, I say “ouch”. Apparently, so too does the majority of my fellow Americans.

Indeed. The only poll since Nov 2000 that counts was the one November 2004. Anybody remember the results of that poll? It must have certainly shown that the Democratic candidate was more in touch and not an ideologue right? Did it show that?
I wonder how long a fight manager would last if he always trained his fighter to win a few rounds but invariably lose the bout: “yeah, but I won rounds 2 and 7!!”

Actually I don’t think he is out of ouch with the populace. Let’s hope there is a lot of ouch to come for Bush. :-)
