It’s a devastatingly accurate description of wingnut blogs. Obviously, Farris thinks it wrong to make a Nazi reference WRT a website that refers to certain races as “vermin” and “subhumans” and routinely advocates genocide.

And, let’s face it, a number of those sites are delusional and crackpot. Farris, would you care to defend Esmay’s bizarre theories on HIV/AIDS? Or would you care to defend his strange rants on alcoholism (while he and his wife begged for money)–only to see him him crow about how much money he saved on taxes a few months later?

Gender-baiting? Michelle Maglalang. Let’s see; Ms. Maglalang writes a book defending the internment of US citizens (in an attempt to justify doing the same with Arab-Americans today) that is so fraught with error, it is laughable. Yeah, Mithras is right; if Maglalang weren’t photogeni–she’d be just another ranter at ClownHall.

    Hmmm,

calling names (”lazy”, “delusional”, “crackpot”)? Check.
    Gender baiting? Check.
Calling your opponents racist? Double Check.
    Nazi reference? Check.

What a rigourous intellectual excercise! No wonder you guys keep losing elections. Ya’ll definitely need a new playbook.

Gee, maybe Al could help us find “the Truth” about an issue in NYC that has been bothering us. Seems like this non-profit Boys and Girls club can’t find some of the money they are supposed to have. Some programs for “THE CHILDREN” will be hurt. I wonder if “the Truth” man can help. Now where did that money go? E.G. Rove? No, not there. Halliburton and Cheney? No, not there. Delay? No not there. Please help us find “the Truth”, Mr. Franken. Say, thats a mighty nice watch there, sir.

Funny, I thought her last name was “Malkin.”

Boy, the whole Hillary “Rodham” Clinton thing really messed you guys up, didn’t it?

Or is it that Michelle has no credentials because she is Asian. Too bad she doesn’t have buck-teeth, thick glasses, and a bad accent, huh?

  5. Oliver says:

She has no credentials because she’s an intellectually dishonest self loathing hack.

  6. Jadegold says:

Mike: All Ms Maglalang’s written ‘work’ is copyrighted by Michelle Maglalang–to this date. If you have an issue with that, I suggest you take it up with Ms. Maglalang.

As for the Asian slurs, I’d be careful saying that to me–given my Asian background and family.

Further, this is yet another case of what’s good for the goose/gander etc. In the 2004 campaign, Ms Maglalang demanded John Kerry’s wife change her name back to her former married name.

  7. Mike says:

Jadegold – sorry if I struck a nerve. Didn’t mean to do that.

But I doubt that there would be an issue if her maiden name was “Smith.”

Both your post and Oliver’s reply brought up an annoying pet peeve that I have with liberals, namely that anyone who is “ethnic” or “of color” had better be a Kool-Aid-drinking Democrat, or they are 1) self loathing, 2) a sellout, 3) an Uncle Tom, etc. Bringing up Malkin’s native Filipino sirname only serves to imply that by calling herself “Michelle Malkin” she is somehow “in denial” about being Asian. And you should read some of the incredibly hateful, racist, and downright obscene mail that she gets because she dares to be an Asian conservative. It pretty much makes the Left’s continual saw about “diversity” into a comedy routine.

As for Theresa Heinz Kerry, I seem to remember that she started calling herself “Theresa Kerry” only after her husband became a contender for the Democratic presidential nomination. Michelle has been publishing under the name “Malkin” for quite some time now. Ask anyone who Michelle Maglalang is, and you’d probably get a blank stare.

BTW, my wife’s step-mother and half-sister are Filipino, so I’m not a stranger to their culture.

Magalaglagadingdong’s intellectual dishonesty and her continued lies are enough to open her up to tons of ridicule. Her poorly thought out ideas on internment camps are a farcical whimsy of party apologetic insanity that barely looks at the real circumstances of Japanese incarceration and instead focuses on her grandizement of the republican party for being so “decisive”.

The ridicule she gets, she’s brough on herself, not through being of asian background, not from her name change, but because she’s a bitchy moron ready to carry the water for any strong republican that punches her in the face.
