Not so fast .. that interview was cut down. The folks at The Big Idea took out major parts of Donny Douche getting angry, that woman speaking, and made it look like Bernie got mad fast.

Bernie was only scheduled to appear in an earlier segment to talk about his book, 1 on 1 with Douche. During the break a producer asked him to stay on for another segment that would discuss his book fairly, however he was ambushed and it was 4 v. 1. This isn’t the first time the Donny Douche show has ambushed people, look at this account:

And lets not forget about Michelle Malkin on Hardball last fall. Apparently ambushing people on NBC networks is a common thing.

I recall seeing a political roundtable discussion where all the panelists, from psycho Krauthammer to the token moderate bashed Fahrenheit 9-11 for being irresponsbile. But by the end, they all confessed to not having seen it. Par for the course.

The entire punditocracy has never in their lives read a book before discussing it amongst themselves. That was the case when Hillary Clinton’s last book came out. I don’t see why right-wingers are suddenly acting all indignant now that pundits didn’t read this latest excretion from the professional bloviators before their own started talking about it. I detect a bit of faux-outrage on the part of Bernie and his circle of sycophants.

The book is selling also because conservative organizations buy it in bulk. Ever seen conservativebookclub.com? Buy 3 books for a dollar! Wow what a deal. Thats cause they buy in such high volume they can afford to give it practically give it away. This increases the book sales, which give it publicity, which genrerate sales and so on. Oh, surprise surprise! Check that site- Goldbergs book is available for only a buck!

THis book is selling because its about anger and vitriol. 98% liberals the rest are conservative. JOn Stewart made an excellent point(whaaaaa… wink wink). None of these people have real power. It is definetly not journalism. What a bitch!(I am sure that is “vulgar”) He said that being judgmental isn’t the worst thing only for liberals, well I guess being an ass-clown hatemonger is a conservative tenant. But Brandon, the point is, is that Goldberg was given plenty of chances to respond, but rather chose to dodge questions about the book that were completely legitimate, regardless of whether the person asking the question read the whole thing. Besides, is it really necessary to go through the entire book, which is simply a list of people he doesnt like for whatever reason (for instance, Al Franken- who is mentioned in the title- completely humiliated Goldberg on TV in the past)?

Have you ever noticed that “Let me finish” is a hallmark of Republicans in the press? Linda Stasi (who works for that liberal rag the NY Post) had made her statement, and waits for a response and Bernie says “I’ll answer if you let me finish? WTF?”

Remember President Cuckoobananas making that same statement to a reporter during the press conference, when noone was even asking him a question?

Do they teach this technique at some Fox training school for Conservative Operatives?
