Another Whining Reporter

Does anyone think Andrea Mitchell’s annoyance at being roughed up in Sudan would ring a bit less hollow if our media didn’t need the excuse of a state visit to cover something that’s been going on in Sudan… like genocide?

Priorities.

    Mitchell: “If our government is going to establish a relationship and push for a new beginning as Sudan reforms itself, they have to live up to international standards. A free press is part of that process.”

    What an ignorant, deluded, and ultimately ironic perspective that is. Colonization strategies of divide and conquer are in many cases a primary structural cause of ethnic slaughter, for example the Hutus and Tutsis in Rwanda, or the British in India vi-a-vis all sort of religious and ethnic groups: sikhs, hindus, muslims. When will it end with these idiot conservatives?
