Tony Pierce does the Lord’s work in compiling a busload of hypocrisy from Prof. Glenn Reynolds

how ironic that our pal the instapundit would have the cajones to post that something was underreported when he has been noticeably quiet about karl rove (who has also been decidedly silent) and TreasonGate.

is part of the lack of Instapundit coverage due to the fact that he called it officially bogus in December of ’03?

but i guess that was a lie since i clearly remember about a dozen or more anti-Joe Wilson posts last year at this time. lets count, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42

my bad.

so from june 27 through august 5, a period of about a month and a half, the instapundit laid into joe wilson nearly four dozen times.

It’s as if Glenn Reynolds is an intellectually dishonest hypocrite or something. Check it all out.

    Oliver Willis is not terribly complimentary of Glenn Reynolds’ coverage of the Rove mess.

    He ought to at least wipe the hydrophobic foam off the keyboard before he posts. But I can see why liberals are so sensitive about their patriotism; after all they are so careful about not prejudging or being too harsh themselves.

    I have a few of questions. First, can you not make a distiction between discussing Wilson’s report from Niger and its veracity, and this contraversy over who allegedly outed his wife? I didn’t have time to read all of his posts linked in the original article, but I did randomly click on several, and thats what they all refered to. Covering something that interests you, and is big news at the time, does not make anyone a hypocrite. Second, there are many things you don’t talk about on this blog as much as others. Are you somehow different than Glenn in that you can write about what interests you, but he can’t? That makes him a hack and hypocrite? Ridiculous.

    I started reading Glenn a couple of months after instapundit.blogspot.com was born, and have been reading since. He used to say great things about you then, and is probably responsible for much of the traffic you still enjoy thanks to his giving you “blogger cred” back when this all began. Are you so jealous of his traffic now that you see the need to constantly beat on this “Glenn is a hypocrite” horse? Its ridiculous. There are a lot of outlandish, over-the-top commenters out there, but no way in hell is he one of them. The only hypocrite here is you, in that you constantly engage in the very same tactics you accuse your ideological opponents of usings.

    Joe Wilson lied? Ah he was proabably one of the many people who claimed WMDs are north south east and west of Baghdad. Or that the smoking gun for Iraq could come in the form of a mushroom cloud. Because, as we all know, none of those statements were true.
